Oh hi there! My name's Kayleena. I started having a passion for photography at the age of 8, while on vacation with my family. Ever since then, that passion never left my side. In 2011, I started to become more me in music photography when I attended the "Polk Street Blues Festival" in the Bay Area. After I arrived to the event, I quickly ran in front of the stage, where I photographed a band called "Buckaroo Bonet". Since then, my photos have been shared throughout social media. I was very flattered. From then on, I've continued to seek new local bands and artists to photograph.
What I enjoy the most about music photography is capturing the moments of them on stage; whether it's of them making goofy faces at the camera, or interacting with each other and the fans.
Hopefully in the nearest future, I would be an official photographer for band events.
I am surrounded both by natural beauty and interesting people. I use my camera to document the world and then print images with a focus on the magic I find in daily life. My pictures tell my stories.
